Tutored Algebra 1 to multiple students who saw at least 2 letter grades increase. I love to teach and have been told that I have a gift with words; I can explain the same concept to different students in different ways so that they all understand it. I believe that the root of a learning problem is just that--at the root. Once a student fully understands the basics, it is easier to build up their knowledge and confidence. Most learning issues can be traced back to a misunderstanding of something in the basics.
